King's of the river, in past times, have often had to deal with a great number of unsavory characters, such as the Gooch, Nuss the Organ Donor, Goose - Feather for Hire, the list goes on... There have been a number of controversies, as well, as to the exact nature of Zorbonzo's kingdom, after all, he sits around fishing by the river, and lives in a van, and doesn't do much besides smoke reefer all day long, and laugh and go, "uh-heh heh heh!" to passers by. But he is, nevertheless, a great king by all accounts.
In the later days of Zorbonzo's kingdom, many the wiley rascal would try to brick his yard over a cosmostrip and scream insulting things about peanuts at the old man. Where is the respect for venerable genius such as that? They could piss on the remnant bank of his once great kingdom and kick the washboards out from under him, at their leisure.
George Winters once said about Zorbonzo, "Wasn't he a dadaist? I think I saw him hanging out with Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec and Maurcel Duchamp. The stapler guy, right?"
